The Four PhasesPhase
1 Approach to Waterfall
Possibly the most difficult dealing with the final 100metres leading up to and including the bridge. Long haul for materials. Important to complete promptly to maintain direct access to waterfall whilst fundraising continues for next phase. A
Remove existing bridge B
Reduce height of path on the approach using spoil in foundations of new
bridge. Maintain character with narrow width, maintaining any features where
possible. Prepare ground for installation of new path surface. C
Install new bridge. Forestry
Division to supply and install bridge. D
Install new path about 1.2metres wide 100metres in length. Forestry
Division to supply timber for kerbs and rails. Use
contactors for groundworks and path. |
